In the Sengoku Period of Japan, constant struggle between local lords has fostered a chaotic Japan.
While Drifters focuses on Nobunaga’s ambition through his personality, in Nobunaga the Fool, you get to understand why him trying to conquer Japan was so important in a historical sense. Nobunaga the Fool might seem like an odd pick here, but while it does feature mechs and a story that only sprinkles in historical names to its sci-fi setting, like in Drifters, you get to know a little bit more about a historical figure that seems kind of larger than life. When Jeanne Kaguya d’Arc and Leonardo da Vinci travel to the eastern planet looking for the Savior-King, they become entangled in a military battle, only to be saved by the carefree and silly Nobunaga the Fool.

The Fate series can be a bit complicated to get into. In each anime you get the same sense of the personality of that figure, even if they aren’t even close to their real life or story versions. If you find a thrill in watching historical or mythical figures fighting each other, then like Drifters, the Fate series is the quintessential anime for that. However, when Rin’s classmate Emiya Shirou accidentally enters too, things get much more interesting. With her Servant, Archer, she hopes to obtain the Holy Grail and have her wish granted. In the Fifth Holy Grail War, Rin Toosaka is among the magi entering the competition. Together, Masters use their Servants to fight a proxy war for the Holy Grail-a magical artifact capable of granting its wielder any wish. These Masters summon a Servant, a Heroic Spirit of historic or mythical heroes past, and gain command seals to order their Servant to do their bidding. The Holy Grail War is a battle royale in one city in Japan among seven magi selected to be Masters.

All these warriors together figure out that this modern-day world is full of tyrants and is determined to get rid of it and free the people.Darker Than Black For Fans of Historical Figures Fighting The Fate/Stay Night Series Along the way, Shimzau also finds a lot of warriors who join him. Soon enough, he discovers that his new world is full of a lot of fantastic beasts and people. When he wakes up, he finds himself in a corridor that consists of hundreds of doors on either side. The plot of the show follows the story of Shimazu Toyohisa, who is from the middle ages but is transported to a modern-day parallel world. What makes matters even worse is the fact that the three OVA episodes have already covered almost half of Volume 5. Despite the show's renewal, we may still need to wait for new volumes to release before we can expect season 2 to begin production.
This clearly isn't enough for a whole new season.
The first season covered four of those volumes, which leaves two more. At the moment of this writing, there are only six volumes. Even though the show has been renewed for a second season in 2016, no development has happened that has taken the series forward. The main reason for the delay could be the lack of content. No release date for the show is available as of now.
